Session 1The Road to Phandalin
The party forms on the road, takes the Gnomengarde quest, hears the first dragon rumors, and kills a boar at midnight.
Barnaby’s Dragon’s Breath and Sage’s reluctant finishing arrow. Dinner, preserved.

Session 2Dax Joins
A wounded fighter amid five dead orcs joins the party, Gnomengarde is explored, and Facktoré opens fire.
An unhinged gnome shoots Thom with a crossbow ballista. Slept, tied up, robbed of 10 gold by Bean — then freed by Rut.

Session 3The Mimics
A paranoid king, a bound queen, a goopy rope bridge, and two very real mimics. The contract is delivered.

Session 4Back to Phandalin, and a Squeeze
Harbin pays out and posts two contracts, Thornton reveals a Zhentarim pin and crossbows, and two manticores meet the party at Umbrage Hill.
GnomengardeWayside CampPhandalinUmbrage Hill
Guildmaster Thornton reveals a Zhentarim pin and forces a paid intel-sharing pact at crossbow-point. Bean lifts Harbin’s private notes on her.
Two manticores. Dax burns an Action Surge, Barnaby shields him, Bean and Sage land the kills. The windmill mostly survives.

Session 5Adabra, Orcs, and the Temple of Abbathor
Adabra refuses to leave, an orc camp is bypassed, and the party splits jellies (literally) in a ruined temple to the god of greed.
Umbrage HillDwarven Excavation
Day-old tracks, then Sage and Hamish confirm a large camp down a split trail. Bypassed — for now.
Slashing splits them (Dax proves it the hard way). Thom’s Wild Magic Surge ages him years; Bean lands a natural 20. One more jelly waits in the rubble.
A hidden coffer of gemstones the dwarves don’t know about, and a gold necklace overwritten in ancient Dwarvish: “This is what happens to those who displease me.”
