  6. Harbin Wester's home — site of Bean's unauthorized visit
  7. Shrine of Luck — Tymora's small shrine on the square

The party’s home base — a frontier town of farmers and prospectors where every job so far has started. Harbin Wester posts contracts from behind a well-bolted door, the Miner’s Exchange hides a Zhentarim guildmaster, and the inn is where a strange figure first watched the party in Session 1.

As of Session 7 the town is fuller and edgier than the party has ever seen it: the inn crowded with locals talking low about something nobody named, the midwife evacuated in from Umbrage Hill, a dead dwarf carried through the door to his brother, and — before the night is out — word that a dragon has levelled the hill she came from.

By Session 8 the whole town knows, and it is angry at the townmaster rather than frightened of the dragon. Harbin Wester has gone from hiding the rumor to needing the townspeople armed, and has asked the party to guard his house from his own neighbours. The Miner’s Exchange keeps its shutters closed and its candle lit well after dark, and there is a trap door in the floor behind the guildmaster’s desk that seals flush into the boards — the party know where it is only because they watched four people walk down through it. Two of them are underneath the town now.

Elsewhere on the map: the Lionshield Coster sells arms and armor and has never yet been open when anyone needed it, and several houses still stand burned open to the weather from the last time something came through here.
